TONGA YOUTH REAL TALK

I want to see my son!

My son that I had when I was still in school. He got adopted to a family overseas.

One of my goals is to get a job that'll enable me to go and see him.

I know how hard it is to work and make a living if you don't have the proper education or training.
Both of my parents work many long hours driving taxis, during the day and through out the night until morning, and they are just able to make ends meet.

My parents have always supported and pushed us children to study hard so that we would be able to get a better future.

I know they were disappointed with me when I got pregnant while I was still in school.
They broke down crying when they weren't able to get a bank loan to send me overseas for further studies.

I still want to continue my studies because my parents taught me to never give up.
There's so much I want to do for my parents as well.

I want to work so they won't have to work anymore. I want to get them a home as we don't have one of our own.

I want my parents to smile and be proud of me again.

Good story but how can you or young Tongans in Tonga realised your dreams if the environment in Tonga does not allow you to get a job. Government must create the environment to get real job and not just dream about it.
