Tonga Youth Employment & Entrepreneurship Inc. (TYEE) is proud to announce that it has signed it's first Partnership Organisation Agreement with Volunteers Service Abroad (VSA) on Monday, 23rd July 2018 at TYEE Office, Nuku'alofa. This agreement is marking a new step in the official journey of TYEE-VSA relations. This agreement also underlines the importance of advancing talents in different fields, as well as generating concrete benefits both for Tonga and New Zealand. This agreement covers the placement of two volunteers in assignments identified and scoped between the VSA and TYEE. This will ensure that both parties will give their commitment and contribution through collaborative partnership and working together to achieve the respective assignments' goals and outcomes. The agreement was signed in the presence of TYEE Board Representatives and VSA Representatives. TYEE would like to acknowledge and thank the New Zealand High Commission Office, Nuku'alofa for having initiated the original meeting with the VSA Programme Manager, Diane Thorne-George as well as for their support and guidance over the past year in helping bring this project to fruition. We are excited that our first official volunteer Graeme Atkinson an ICT Expert/Trainer will be joining us at the beginning of this August 2018. Atkinson will be the first official placement in support of setting up TYEE's new facility which will make up of a Youth Tech Incubators Centre (YTIC) and a space for Tonga Youth Market Connect (TYMC). Our second volunteer an Organisation Capability Adviser will be joining us later this year. TYEE, a not for profit youth support service organisation is always looking for new prospects, new professional partners as the VSA. It will enable us to meet our clients demands for upskilling and capacity building in regards to employment and entrepreneurship with ICT opportunities. This agreement will help us build on that success and to expand TYEE's support services further. "Our ambition is to provide high quality support services to Tonga young school leavers and our business partners and sponsors alike, that why is important for us to be partner with VSA. With this partnership we can grant our customers high skilled trainers and international certifications. The partnership conditions are very simple. From the beginning, our relationship with VSA is very professional, we get clear information and very quick answers. That's a pleasure to work with VSA. We are truly honoured to be working alongside an international leading organisation who has proven track record in connecting people and transforming lives in local communities around the world including Tonga".
