Youth Work Ready Training Workshops, June-July 2019

Bridging the skills and opportunity gaps for TYEE participating youth in a week-long Training Workshops at TYEE Training Room at Fifita House Building. These training workshops provide learning opportunities and support to each participating youth member who is making their transition to work, meaningful. "Finding Your Own Unique Career Pathway & Be Work Ready" training workshops give hope and a second chance to those young people who are serious about making a difference in their lives and getting ahead in life. 

​TYEE's training work-space has the capacity to hold up to 20 participants in one seating. This space also compliments a small set up for our tech-hub to assist our participants with accessing the computers and upskilling themselves in the basic Microsoft Office Suite while they are equipped with the skills to prepare their own job application letter, CV, interview preparations and presentations, and much more.

Post the training workshops, TYEE Recruitment Service Team works directly with the participating youth by connecting them with the available job vacancies that are being made available to TYEE Career Centre through partnering with our local employers.

With over thousands of young school leavers who are registered at TYEE program to date, more than 50% of them have been supported and connected with employment placements in Tonga alone. TYEE is forever grateful to our loyal local partner employers for believing in us!

We assist young people aged 18 – 29 years to find jobs, access training opportunities, or to start their own jobs being young entrepreneurs. We place a particular emphasis on those young people who, due to personal circumstances, left school early and are considered school “drop-outs”.
